Easy Thanksgiving Recipes

Here it is my friends, scroll through and take your pick! Thanksgiving can be whatever you want it to be with my mix and match menu. There are tons of options to pick from and many of them include make-ahead instructions, cooking method variations, and PRO tips for picture perfect results!

Have a question? Ask away in the comments section below any post, I insist! 😉

Roast Turkey or Chicken

My Roast Turkey recipe will ensure that you have extra crispy results on the top and bottom with extra juicy meat that ensures that both the breast and thighs are cooked to ideal temperature. Make an easy pan gravy with the drippings at the end and dinner is done!

Planning on a smaller gathering this year? My roast chicken recipe is SUPER easy and comes out perfect every time. (and includes an easy chicken gravy recipe at the end!)

Potato Side Dishes

When it comes to making creamy Homemade Mashed Potatoes, simple but important techniques make ALL the difference! But it doesn’t stop there, Twice Baked Potato Casserole is an easy make-ahead side dish that is all the rage during the holidays. And my Copycat Cracker Barrel Hashbrown Casserole makes a delicious side dish for breakfast or dinner!

Also try my Funeral Potatoes, Scalloped Potatoes with Ham, and my Instant Pot Mashed Potatoes.

Vegetable Side Dishes

The most popular of these choices by far is Paula Deen’s Corn Casserole recipe, which is SO easy to put together and can be assembled 2 days ahead of time! Her classic Green Bean Casserole can’t be beat, and my Roasted Carrots recipe couldn’t be easier. Which ones will you choose?!

Other options include:

Roasted Brussels Spouts, Spinach Pie, Cheesy Baked Broccoli, White Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms, Roasted Broccoli, and Creamed Spinach.

Macaroni and Cheese

There’s no shortage of Mac & Cheese options here! Paula Deen’s Macaroni and Cheese is a classic addition to the Thanksgiving table, Crock Pot Mac and Cheese is super creamy and convenient, my One Pot Mac & Cheese is absolutely phenomenal and can be made with broccoli for vegetable addition, and you can’t go wrong with my Copycat Panera Mac and Cheese recipe!

My Copycat Texas Roadhouse Rolls and Honey Butter are super popular on Thanksgiving! The rolls can be baked to near completion the day before and popped in the oven and brushed with butter before dinner is served!

And my Buttermilk Biscuits are a no-fail recipe (with no yeast!). These biscuits have flaky, buttery layers that your family will love. And perhaps the easiest of all: my Copycat Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits.

Which one will make it to your table!?

There is no shortage of gravy recipes here! Make my easy turkey gravy recipe with any pan drippings you end up with, or make my brown gravy, chicken gravy, or mushroom gravy with no drippings at all!

For a smaller and simpler Thanksgiving dinner, try my Crock Pot Chicken and Stuffing! (Also Instant Pot friendly!) This recipe is SO easy and will leave you with plenty of time to spend with your family.

For an easy make-ahead stuffing that you can make up to 3 days ahead of time and cook in the Crock Pot or on the Stove Top, you have to try my Stuffing Casserole recipe (with green beans)! This one is so good.

Are you hungry now too?

Easy Desserts

Save room for dessert! My Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie and Oreo Truffle recipes are both easy to make ahead of time with NO baking required!

And who doesn’t love a simple sweet cookie after a Thanksgiving meal? My 4-ingredient Shortbread Cookies never fail. BONUS: The cookie dough is easy to make days or even weeks ahead of time until you’re ready to bake!
