Honey Sriracha Chicken Sliders

These chicken sliders have the best balance of flavors guys, you just wait. This is a perfect recipe to prepare ahead of time for company and keep warm in the Slow Cooker until it’s time to eat!

Ingredients

  • Boneless/Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • Garlic Powder
  • Paprika
  • Salt/Pepper
  • Slider Buns– I use Martin’s Potato Dinner Rolls
  • Chunky Blue Cheese I use Marie’s Blue Cheese, found in the refrigerator section in produce
  • Butter Lettuce Leaves Optional

For the Sauce:

  • Butter
  • Honey
  • Sriracha Sauce
  • Buffalo Sauce
  • Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Cream Cheeese

How to Make it

Slow Cooker:

  • Season the chicken with salt/pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Place in the Slow Cooker with the Sauce ingredients.
  • Heat on low for 4 hours, use a fork to shred the chicken. Stir into the sauce until well combined.
  • Heat on warm until ready to serve. Serve with slider buns, lettuce, and drizzle with blue cheese.

Stove Top:

  • Boil the chicken until cooked all the way through, drain and shred.
  • Season the chicken and add sauce ingredients. 
  • Serve with slider buns, lettuce, and drizzle with blue cheese.

Storing Leftovers

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or the freezer for up to 3 months.

PRO TIP: The filling tastes great on top of pizza. I freeze portion sizes and make Naan bread pizzas with this as a topping. Drizzle blue cheese on top before or after baking!

Ingredients

Honey Sriracha chicken:

  • 3 large boneless/skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • Salt/Pepper, to taste

Honey Sriracha Sauce:

  • 4 Tablespoons butter
  • 3 Tablespoons honey
  • 2 Tablespoons Sriracha sauce, or more if you prefer spicier
  • ½ cup Buffalo sauce
  • 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
  • 6 oz. cream cheese, softened (3/4 cup)

To Serve:

  • 1 bag Martin’s Dinner Potato Rolls
  • ½ cup chunky blue cheese dressing
  • 8 butter lettuce leaves

Instructions

Slow Cooker Method

  • Place the chicken breasts next to each other at the bottom of the crock pot and sprinkle the tops with garlic powder, paprika, and desired amounts of salt and pepper.
  • Add the sauce ingredients. Heat on low for 4 hours.
  • Use a fork to shred the chicken. Stir until the sauce is distributed evenly throughout. Heat on warm until ready to serve.
  • To serve, place a lettuce leaf on the bottom of each roll. Scoop a heaping portion of honey sriracha chicken onto each slider and drizzle with a Tablespoon of blue cheese. Enjoy!

Stove Top Method

  • Boil the chicken until cooked all the way through, drain and shred.
  • Reduce heat to low. Season the chicken and add sauce ingredients. Stir to combine.
  • Serve with slider buns, lettuce, and drizzle with blue cheese.
