Instructions
Carefully slice each peach in half. Using a pairing knife to slice around the pit and carefully remove it.
Use a pastry brush to lightly coat the flat, flesh side with oil.
Preheat the grill to medium.
Place the peaches flat-side-down and cook for 4-5 minutes, until grill marks appear.
Use a thin spatula to carefully flip them and cook the rounded side for another 4-5 minutes.
Remove from the grill, serve with Hood Cottage Cheese with Strawberry, and enjoy!
Notes
Freestone peaches are best for grilling, as their pits are more easily removed, which is a step that’s needed prior to grilling.
It’s best to use peaches that are a bit firmer and not overly ripe. Not only are overly ripe peaches softer and harder to manage on the grill, but their juices have more sugar which makes them more likely to burn on the grill.
