This is without a doubt, the greatest way to enjoy a banana. I have always enjoyed eating frozen banana slices or peanut butter banana bites as a snack but turning it into soft serve?! It’s like a miracle dessert. You’re eating an all-natural, healthy banana and pretty much not even realizing it (especially if you choose to drizzle a little chocolate or caramel on top- a little indulgence is allowed!) It’s especially refreshing during those hot summer months and light years healthier than real soft serve. Rather than leaving you feeling tired like some desserts might do, this one leaves you feeling healthy and energized, I’m so happy I discovered it. You could do the same thing with strawberries and other fruits as well- why not turn it into a parfait : ) I love recipes with lots of options, experimenting with different toppings is also great, I’m trying granola next time. Don’t have a food processor? This is the one I use, it takes up very little space but definitely gets the job done.

Pure Banana Soft Serve
Serves: 2.5 cups (3 servings)
  • 3 bananas, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons chocolate syrup or topping of your choice!
  1. Freeze the sliced banana in a Tupperware container (give it a few hours, or overnight works…heck even a week is fine)
  2. Place the frozen slices in a food processor and mix until it reaches a soft consistency.
  3. Spoon into serving bowls and drizzle with chocolate (or topping of your choice) and enjoy! You can also freeze the soft serve to use at a later time, the consistency will not be compromised : )
  4. Enjoy being healthy!
