I’m going to begin with a bold statement.
I think Pretzels are boring. I see wayyyyy too many people snacking on pretzels these days (like my hubs) . I’d rather have no snack at all than have a boring pretzel. I’m a SERIOUS Cheez-It girl. Always have been, always will be. I just bought 4 boxes yesterday- FOUR! Okay anyway… back to pretzels…
NOW. If we’re talking like a big warm soft pretzel dipped in nacho cheese, then…. THEN you have my attention. You know what else has my attention? This RIDICULOUSLY good pretzel fudge pie. Salty pretzels mixed with delicious sweet fudgy goodness…. WOWWWW. It’s amazing, I’m not kidding. Now THAT’S how you make good use of a pretzel! This is the best pie I’ve ever made (okay I haven’t made that many pies in my day)- but I’ll also go so far as to say that it’s one of the best pies I’ve ever EATEN. (Except for yours mom!)…. Something about the combination of ingredients is genius-Thank you Pillsbury- once again, you’ve rocked my world. (I don’t get paid to say that BTW, I simply report the facts)
As long as we’re on the subject of pretzels, my friend Tracy makes the BEST soft pretzels from scratch, you should check it out. Once again I say, THAT’S the way to eat a Pretzel.
Anyhoo, enough about snacks, this dessert is the best, and you should make it. That sums it up right there now doesn’t it.
