I.love.Breakfast. The best way to handle me when I’m in a bad mood is to throw some sausage and eggs my way. Boom. Problem solved. Egg-making is an art, I tell you. Not just anyone can make good eggs… you have to be special. There is this breakfast place near us that makes their eggs SO good…. that nothing else about the place matters. None of their dishes match, the waitstaff really doesn’t care about much of anything, and forget about customizing your meal in any way. But it doesn’t matter. My dad found GUM on the side of his plate once and didn’t even care (okay, true story… but one that I probably didn’t need to share)…
Let me start out by saying, these dreamy, creamy tarts look like heaven… but they were NOT heavenly to take pictures of. The lighting was best outside, so outside I went- No one warned me that it was the windiest day EVER. These tarts almost ended up all over the lawn. The worst was when I could hear a massive gust coming right before I had a good setup in place. Man oh man… but hey- it worked out.… [read more]
The best thing about these peanutty pie clusters is that the recipe pretty darn hard to mess up. Which is awesome- because cooking disasters are a waste of time, money, and energy. Not to mention there’s nothing good to eat at the end of it.
When I heard that we were having a cookie contest at work, I was SO excited. This was IT. I’m a food blogger, helloooo, these people can’t mess with me! I got this in the bag. Could do it in my sleep. I almost feel bad for everyone else who is planning on trying. Suckaaaaas.… [read more]
These Parmesan-Crusted garlic knots are OH so good, especially when they’re hot out of the oven, I like to dip every bite in marinara sauce as I indulge 😀 These are one of my favorite Pillsbury Dough recipes because they’re perfect to make for guests- requiring very little time and brainpower, (I’m horrible at multi-tasking in the kitchen). I can either catch up with my guests, or cook- but I can’t do both. My brain’s not wired that way. (Is yours?)… [read more]

This pull-apart cinnamon monkey bread is so moist, delicious, and easy to prepare : ) It’s great served as an appetizer or snack, My husband and I were DYING over this, it’s like a giant pull-apart Cinnabun! … [read more]
These were DELICIOUS!!!! Even better than I expected. I prepared the filling the day before I made them, so that when I was ready to actually serve them, I simply had to unroll some Pillsbury crescent rolls, scoop out the filling and bake it for 13 minutes! Doesn’t get much easier than that. This filling was AWESOME… but you can certainly customize it to be filled with anything you want! This particular recipe includes chicken, bacon, spinach, … [read more]
